Refrigerated Liquid Carbon Dioxide (CO²)

The City of Avondale is seeking quotations for the supply of Refrigerated Liquid Carbon Dioxide (CO²) on an as-needed basis for a period of 12 months. The CO² must meet certain specifications, including a minimum purity of 99.5% and a cylinder size/load of 25-ton. The contractor shall provide transportation, delivery, and off-loading of the CO² directly into City-owned tanks or storage facilities at the Water Treatment Plant. The contractor must also comply with all site safety requirements and coordinate with City staff prior to delivery. • The City reserves the right to amend the solicitation schedule as necessary. • The award will be made on an individual or overall lowest price basis, whichever is most advantageous to the City of Avondale. • The resulting Contract shall be effective from the date it is fully executed by the City and remain in full force and effect for one year thereafter, unless terminated as otherwise provided. • Federally funded purchases are subject to 2CFR PART 200 and other applicable federal terms and conditions. • The quantity of CO² is an estimated usage, and the actual number will be specified in a purchase order.
