Kentucky State Fair Board Entertainment Manager

The Kentucky State Fair Board is seeking a qualified Entertainment Manager to book and produce entertainment acts for the Kentucky State Fair. The Entertainment Manager will be responsible for negotiating contracts, managing stage productions, and coordinating logistics. The ideal candidate will have experience in booking entertainment acts, managing stage productions, and negotiating contracts for state fairs, festivals, or other mass entertainment events. The contract period will be from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2028, with the option to renew for up to two additional two-year periods. Key responsibilities include: • Booking entertainment acts for the Kentucky State Fair • Negotiating contracts with entertainers and their managers or agents • Managing stage productions, including coordinating security, stagehands, sound and lighting services, catering, and transportation • Coordinating logistics for the entertainment events • Providing personnel assistance as required The evaluation criteria will include previous experience, personal qualifications and expertise, and cost proposal.
