Student Transportation Drivers

Delaware State University is seeking proposals for student transportation drivers. The contract will require the vendor to provide all equipment, materials, and labor to supplement the university's need for student transportation. The vendor will be responsible for providing 2 drivers, with the possibility of additional drivers based on university needs. The contract will be for a period of 3 years, with the option to renew for 2 one-year extensions. The vendor will be required to provide standard liability insurance and comply with all Delaware Department of Technology and Information security standards. • The vendor will be responsible for providing transportation services to university students. • The vendor will be required to employ a sufficient number of drivers to ensure continuous and reliable service. • The vendor will be responsible for ensuring that all drivers are properly trained, tested, and licensed to meet all statutes, laws, and regulations. • The vendor will be required to provide a certified safe driving record for each driver. • The vendor will be responsible for reporting any accidents involving university students to the head of fleet. • The vendor will be required to comply with all applicable security-related federal, state, and local laws.
