Professional Development

The Southwest Independent School District is seeking proposals for professional development services. The district is looking for vendors who can provide educational expertise on a short-term or infrequent basis. Services may include consultation, advisement, coaching, facilitation, or presentation, with a focus on supporting accessing curriculum resources, teaching and learning, culturally-relevant education, content and conceptual development, and more. The contract will be for a term of approximately five years, from the award date through July 31, 2028. The district reserves the right to determine if a specialized service is acceptable and to reject any or all proposals. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing professional development sessions with a focus on various educational topics • Supporting curriculum resources, teaching and learning, and culturally-relevant education • Offering coaching, facilitation, or presentation services • Providing services on an "as needed" basis • Ensuring that services are acceptable to the district • Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and district policies
