Description
The City of Murfreesboro is seeking a professional consultant engineering firm to provide services related to the construction of the Cherry Lane Phase 3B Interchange Project. The project includes a grade-separated interchange, associated ramps, approach roadway, bridge and retaining-wall construction, drainage and stormwater facilities, utility coordination, signing and pavement markings, traffic control, erosion prevention, and sediment control. The selected firm will be responsible for providing overall CEI project management, construction administration, material testing, and a single point of contact for the City. The firm must have unlimited status and be on TDOT's pre-approved list or have a completed pre-qualification form filed with TDOT.
Some key responsibilities of the selected firm include:
• Providing qualified materials-testing subconsultant as part of the CEI team
• Inspecting and documenting construction of roadway, interchange ramps, bridge, and structural components
• Monitoring contractor compliance with plans, specifications, permits, and TDOT requirements
• Coordinating with the City, TDOT, contractor, utility owners, and other stakeholders
• Maintaining complete project records, including daily reports, photographs, quantities, material and testing records, pay-item tracking, progress reports, meeting minutes, change-order support, and payment documentation
