Walnut Street Oval Traffic Flow & Signals Project

The City of Nashua, New Hampshire is seeking bids for the Walnut Street Oval Traffic Flow & Signals Project. The project involves minor intersection modifications, pavement marking adjustments, signage revisions, and traffic signal modifications necessary to revise traffic flow directions on West Pearl Street and Factory Street to support the forthcoming Walnut Oval Intersection Improvement project. The project requires completion within 65 calendar days from the date specified in the “Notice to Proceed”. The bid must include a unit price for each item and a total amount for the bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids on any basis without disclosure of a reason. • The project includes removal and paving of the southwest curb extension at the West Pearl Street and Walnut Street intersection. • Pavement marking and signage revisions on West Pearl Street and Factory Street. • Implementation of all-way stop control at Factory & Water Street intersection. • Traffic signal and pavement marking modifications at the West Pearl Street & Main Street and Factory Street & Main Street intersections. • Structural evaluation of the traffic signal mast arms on Main Street and potential replacement.
