9140--Diesel Fuel for Facility Boiler Plant Operations

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for diesel fuel for facility boiler plant operations. The purpose of this notice is to identify qualified and capable sources to assist in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy. Vendors must provide complete responses to all items, including identifying the refinery or manufacturer of the diesel fuel, confirming whether the diesel fuel meets all requirements in the Statement of Work, and providing evidence of their relationship with the fuel refinery or wholesaler. • The diesel fuel must meet requirements such as ULSD (ASTM D975), NA1993 classification, and dyed for off-road use. • Vendors must provide supporting documentation such as a refinery product sheet, COA, or supply chain certification. • The VA is encouraging vendors to provide estimated market pricing to assist in determining procurement strategy. • The contract will require the delivery of 29,000 gallons of diesel fuel into the VA tank.
