2025 RFP - INDEPENDENT AUDITING SERVICES

The City of Mandeville is seeking a certified public accounting firm to perform independent financial and compliance audit services for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2025. The selected firm will conduct the audit in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Government Auditing Standards. The firm will also perform all procedures prescribed by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor's Statewide Agreed-Upon Procedures (SAUP) and provide technical assistance related to the implementation and financial reporting requirements of applicable Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements. Key aspects of the job include: * Conducting an independent financial and compliance audit * Performing procedures prescribed by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor's SAUP * Providing technical assistance related to GASB pronouncements * Conducting a Single Audit if the City expends $750,000 or more in federal funds during the audit period * Submitting proposals electronically or by hard copy to the Purchasing Agent's office * Ensuring the proposal is uploaded as a single, searchable PDF file or submitted in a sealed packet with the firm's Louisiana CPA license number clearly written on the outer envelope.
