Snow Package for Single Axle Cab & Chassis

The City of Muscatine is seeking bids for a snow package for a single axle cab and chassis. The package includes a dump body and hydraulic hoist, a two-way snow plow and truck-mounted hitch, a mid-mount wing plow, and a salt spreader. The dump body must have a 6-7 cubic yard capacity and be made of stainless steel. The snow plow must be a two-way, factory-new plow with a minimum 42" moldboard height. The wing plow must be a mid-mount plow with a minimum 27" heel to toe length. The salt spreader must have a minimum 10 cubic yard capacity and be made of 201 stainless steel. • The dump body and hydraulic hoist must be compatible with a 41,000 lb. GVW truck. • The snow plow and wing plow must be compatible with a 41,000 lb. GVW truck. • The salt spreader must be compatible with a 41,000 lb. GVW truck. • The equipment must be delivered to the City of Muscatine. • The equipment must be installed by the supplier. • The supplier must provide training on the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
