Venue 1842

The City of Farmers Branch is seeking a contract management operator for Venue 1842, an 8,147 sq ft structure that provides private event rental opportunities and space for educational sessions, classes, and programs. The operator will be responsible for managing all aspects of Venue 1842, including operations, engineering, food service, booking, marketing, and security. The City desires an outside operator to generate greater event activity and revenue. • The operator must have at least 10 years of experience in managing and operating cultural, recreation, and/or entertainment facilities or attractions. • The operator will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, sales, marketing, and customer service. • The operator must provide a management plan, marketing plan, financial plan, and customer service plan. • The operator must have experience in operating facilities on behalf of public entities.
