The University of South Dakota is seeking a strategic planning consultant to guide and assist in the development of the University's next strategic plan. The consultant will partner with USD leadership, faculty, staff, students, alumni, community stakeholders, and policy makers to ensure the plan reflects the university's mission, values, and regional impact. The scope of work includes strategic plan development, environmental scan and benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, data analysis and synthesis, drafting and refinement, and implementation framework. The consultant will provide a polished, comprehensive strategic plan document suitable for presentation to the South Dakota Board of Regents and external stakeholders. • The consultant will facilitate the creation of a strategic plan that articulates USD's vision, institutional priorities, and measurable goals. • The consultant will conduct a comprehensive environmental scan of internal and external factors influencing USD. • The consultant will design and implement an inclusive engagement process that incorporates input from faculty, staff, students, alumni, governing boards, community partners, and policy makers. • The consultant will review institutional data on enrollment, finances, academic programs, facilities, and workforce. • The consultant will develop an implementation roadmap that includes timelines, responsible parties, resource requirements, and measurable outcomes.
