The City of Beverly Hills is seeking to pre‑qualify elevator/lift contractors to perform vertical‑transportation installation, modernization, and replacement of ADA wheelchair lifts at city facilities over the next five years. Qualified firms must hold a California C‑11 contractor’s license, demonstrate at least four comparable lift‑replacement projects in the past ten years, meet bonding, insurance, and labor‑code registration requirements, and submit extensive financial and organizational documentation through the Planet Bids portal. The pre‑qualification process is scored; firms must achieve minimum scores in history and safety/compliance sections and meet project‑size thresholds of $250‑$500 k per referenced lift project.
