Management and Operations of Historic Fort Nashborough

The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County seeks a qualified contractor to fully manage and operate the historic Fort Nashborough site for a ten‑year term. The contractor will be responsible for historic programming, facility management, security, capital improvements, ticketing, marketing, financial reporting, education outreach, and coordination with city services, all while complying with ADA standards and Metro’s regulatory requirements. • Provide daily historic‑site programming that includes Native American perspectives and community events. • Deliver comprehensive facilities, janitorial, security, and maintenance services, and oversee any capital‑improvement projects subject to Metro approval. • Manage ticketing, marketing, sponsorship acquisition, financial reporting, and free educational field‑trip programs for local schools. • Coordinate with Metro Parks, police, fire, EMS, and other city agencies; ensure all work occurs within Riverfront Park operating hours unless additional approvals are obtained.
