TAK-PSC-Audit and Consultation Services

The Turnpike Authority of Kentucky (TAK) is seeking a certified public accounting firm to provide audit and consultation services. The selected firm will perform auditing services of financial statements for TAK, including completion of the Closing Package Forms and reconciliation of the information reported on the forms to the audited financial statements. The firm will also provide consultation services regarding bond refunding, new issues, and responses to the Finance and Administration Cabinet and State Auditor. • The audit services shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions provided by the Auditor of Public Accounts, Commonwealth of Kentucky. • The firm shall provide a detailed description of its experience in auditing comparable bond issues and attendant investment schedules. • The firm shall provide resumes for all personnel proposed for assignment to the project, detailing their educational qualifications and previous work assignments. • The firm shall provide a detailed description of its audit approach, including setting audit objectives, audit planning and analytical procedures, establishing materiality levels, and studying the internal control structure and assessing control risk.
