Janitorial Services - Raleigh Crime Lab

The NC State Crime Laboratory is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial services for the Raleigh Crime Laboratory. The contract will consist of all-inclusive janitorial services with cleaning schedules, including all necessary labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and supplies. The facility is approximately 121,000 sq. ft. and contains five distinct floors/levels. The vendor must ensure that all employees follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper product use of all cleaning and polishing supplies used on flooring, countertops, and surfaces in the assigned building. The vendor must also ensure that all employees are following the established safety practices and utilize the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for any cleaning supplies being used by the employee. Some key requirements include: * Providing sufficient labor hours, equipment, and supplies to complete all requirements * Ensuring all employees have at least six months of experience as a janitorial employee * Ensuring supervisory employees have at least one year of experience as a cleaning supervisor * Providing training to each employee on bloodborne pathogens, hazard communication, fire extinguisher, personal protective equipment, asbestos and mold awareness, ladder safety, and fluorescent lamp/bulb recycling * Ensuring all employees are following the health and safety requirements at the crime laboratory when entering designated spaces * Ensuring all employees are following state-wide health emergency guidelines when in effect
