Lease of Mailing Equipment

The City of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking proposals for the lease of a high-volume mailing system for use at City Hall. The system shall include a high-volume mailing machine with postage meter and a folding/inserting system. The vendor must provide pricing and equipment that meet or exceed the minimum specifications outlined in the RFP. The scope of work includes providing all equipment, labor and installation, consumables, maintenance and replacement parts, and ongoing service and support. • The mailing machine must process approximately 25,000–40,000 mail pieces per month and handle mixed weights, including pieces over one ounce. • The folding/inserting system must insert return envelopes or postcards and operate in various modes. • The vendor must provide a minimum of two days of on-site training after installation. • The City will evaluate proposals based on compliance with specifications, cost, quality of equipment, and vendor service reputation.
