Automatic Brine Maker with Remote Fill Capability

The West Virginia Division of Highways is soliciting bids for an open-end contract to provide Automatic Brine Maker Production Systems Equipment. The equipment must be fully automated, with a production capacity of 100 GPM, and must use density for measurement of brine solution with an accuracy of 0.2% +/- per wt./wt. The contract will be awarded to the lowest bidding responsible vendor that provides the contract items meeting the required specifications for the lowest overall total cost, per district. The vendor must provide quarterly reports, annual summaries, and/or monthly reports as requested by the agency. The contract is intended to provide agencies with a purchase price on all contract items, and the purchase prices on all contract items shall be adoptable for other public agencies upon their request. Some key features and requirements of the contract include: • Fully automated brine maker with remote fill capability • Production capacity of 100 GPM • Density measurement of brine solution with an accuracy of 0.2% +/- per wt./wt. • Fully automated control system with a color touch screen • Salt hopper with a minimum capacity of 4 cubic yards • Air purge system to remove water from lines between controls • Tank level sensor with radar type mounted on top of vertical storage tanks • Delivery shall be F.O.B. destination to the agency's location • Vendor shall accept payment in accordance with the payment procedures of the State of West Virginia
