Description
The City of Omaha is seeking qualified contractors to construct the second package of the Northeast Omaha High‑Rate Treatment Basin. The work includes design‑build of combined sewer conveyance structures, a flow‑diversion active control structure (IZAC), twin 60‑inch diversion sewers, a grit and screening facility (IZGSF), associated site work, precast concrete structures, steel appurtenances, mechanical and electrical systems, and related civil works. Bids are to be submitted electronically; a pre‑bid conference is scheduled for 26 Aug 2026 (attendance encouraged but not mandatory). The contract will be awarded on a lump‑sum basis with allowances and requires compliance with City licensing, bid bonds, an Economic Sustainability Plan, and optional apprenticeship incentives.
