Compressed Gases

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking a contractor to provide compressed gases to the Global Monitoring Laboratory (GML) in Boulder, CO. The acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation includes a list of line-item numbers, quantities, and units of measure, as well as a description of requirements for the items to be acquired. The contractor will be required to provide compressed gases, including Research Grade H2, Research Grade He, Ultra-zero air, Nitric Oxide, Sulfur Dioxide, and other gases. The contractor must meet specific purity and blending requirements for each gas. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must provide Research Grade H2 with a purity of 99.999%. • The contractor must provide Research Grade He, and the Government will only accept if GCMS testing meets the Government's specific criteria. • The contractor must provide Ultra-zero air, Nitric Oxide, Sulfur Dioxide, and other gases with specific purity and blending requirements. • The contractor must meet the requirements specified in the Statement of Need (SON) and the Pricing Schedule. • The contractor must comply with EPA protocol regulations for certain gases.
