2025 Digital Enterprise Network Expansion

The City of West Des Moines is seeking bids for the 2025 Digital Enterprise Network Expansion project. The project includes the installation of a multi-user fiber optic conduit network within public right-of-way and easements to support the connection of every residence and business in the city. The contractor will supply and install all vaults, conduit, tracer wire, test stations, and other ancillary items required for a complete and functional conduit network. The project requires the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements. Key features of the project include: • Installation of conduit, vaults, and tracer system components • Furnishing and installation of mechanical duct plugs to seal unused conduit entries into vaults • Connection to existing vaults and test stations • Supply and installation of materials and equipment necessary to meet contract document requirements • Maintenance of improvements for 18 months after acceptance by the City The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any and/or all technicalities and/or all irregularities.
