Director of Catholic Music Ministries - Dover AFB

The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide services for a Director of Catholic Music and music accompanist for all Sunday Masses and Special Services at Dover AFB. The contractor must demonstrate an understanding of the religiously pluralistic and sensitive arena of numerous faith groups and denominational traditions. The contractor will be responsible for providing music direction, leading congregational singing, and providing musical accompaniment. The contractor will also be required to attend weekly meetings and participate in special services and programs as coordinated with the lead Catholic Priest. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: * Providing music direction and accompaniment for Sunday Masses and special services * Leading congregational singing and providing musical solos as directed * Recruiting and training volunteers to form a vibrant and musical team * Coordinating with the lead Catholic Priest to plan music and singing for services * Maintaining a continuity binder with music lists, service plans, and volunteer contact information * Ensuring all copyright laws are abided by and reported correctly
