TDOT Portable Restrooms and Septic Service

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is issuing a five‑year, sealed‑bid solicitation for contractors to rent, deliver, service, and eventually pick up portable sanitation units—including standard restrooms, 2‑ and 4‑stall bathroom trailers, ADA‑compliant trailers, and shower trailers—across four defined regions of the state. Up to four contractors will be awarded, each responsible for a specific region. Services include weekly waste pump‑out, cleaning, restocking of supplies, emergency repairs (within 4 hours), and non‑routine service (within 48 hours). Contractors must provide all labor, equipment, consumables, and necessary permits, and submit detailed weekly service reports. • Provide weekly (and optional monthly) rental of standard portable restrooms (20 units per week per region) and bathroom trailers. • Deliver, set up, maintain, and pick up units per TDOT schedule, ensuring structural integrity and site cleanliness. • Perform routine weekly servicing: pump‑out, refill, sanitization, restocking of chemicals, paper, hand sanitizer, and trash removal. • Offer 24‑hour emergency response and 48‑hour non‑routine service. • Supply ADA‑compliant units, hand‑washing stations, and climate‑controlled shower trailers as specified. • Submit weekly service reports (paper or email) to the TDOT point of contact. • Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ADA regulations; obtain all required permits and licenses.
