F.E. Warren AFB WGF Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) Request For Information (RFI)

The U.S. Air Force is seeking information from potential contractors for a turn-key solution to improve LMR coverage within the Weapons Generation Facility (WGF) at F.E. Warren AFB. The project requires a fiber-based Distributed Antenna System (DAS) with remote monitoring via a network connection. The system should provide in-building coverage of at least 90% with a Delivered Audio Quality (DAQ) of 3.4 or better and a Bit Error Rate (BER) of 2% or less. The contractor should have experience in construction and providing comparable services, and should be able to demonstrate their capability to meet the requirements. • The system should include a minimum of 12 hours of battery backup and provide a health monitoring function. • The system should be designed with redundancy in a hot-failover configuration. • The contractor should be able to conduct pre-installation site surveys and RF propagation studies. • The contractor should be able to provide a brief capability statement package demonstrating their specific capability in reference to this requirement.
