Underground Tank Insurance

The Town of Oyster Bay is requesting proposals from insurance brokers to provide coverage for 36 underground petroleum storage tanks at 7 locations. The required coverage includes: * $1,000,000 per occurrence for liabilities such as clean-up, third-party property damage, and bodily injury * A minimum aggregate financial responsibility of $1,000,000 To be considered, insurance companies must have a rating of "A" with a minimum size rating of 8 out of 15. Proposals must be submitted by July 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EST, and can be sent by mail, fax, or email. The current policy expires on July 31, 2026.
