The State of Maine, Department of Energy Resources, is seeking a professional services provider to support the Maine Clean Energy Internship Program. The program aims to provide internship opportunities to students and young professionals in the clean energy sector. The selected provider will be responsible for administering the program, including identifying and onboarding clean energy employers, placing interns, and providing program management and support. The provider will also be responsible for developing a program structure, including types of services to be offered, and for publicizing the program and communicating results. • The program will run for approximately 3 years, from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2029. • The provider will be required to identify and onboard a minimum of 15 clean energy employers each calendar year. • The provider will be required to place a minimum of 25 interns at approved roles with clean energy employers each calendar year. • The provider will be responsible for developing a program structure, including types of services to be offered. • The provider will be responsible for publicizing the program and communicating results.
