J059--ASCOM PBX Upgrade

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to upgrade the current analog ASCOM PBX switch to a digital Innova phone IP3011 Voip-Gateway at the West Haven VAMC. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, programming, specialized professional services, and travel necessary to complete the upgrade. The contractor must be an authorized ASCOM dealer and have the capability to provide the necessary services. The upgrade is required to ensure compatibility with the new CISCO digital phone system and to continue the use of 237 handsets for medical staff and in-patient room communications. Key requirements include: • Providing all necessary labor, programming, and specialized professional services • Upgrading the current analog ASCOM PBX switch to a digital Innova phone IP3011 Voip-Gateway • Ensuring compatibility with the new CISCO digital phone system • Providing portable handset software updates and enhancements • Complying with the limitations on subcontracting requirements • Cooperating fully with the Contracting Officer to assess compliance with the contract requirements
