CALCIUM CHLORIDE PELLETS FOR ICE REMOVAL

The Polk County Procurement and Purchasing Division is seeking bids for the supply of Calcium Chloride Pellets for Ice Removal. The pellets must meet the requirements of AASHTO M 144 and contain at least 90% calcium chloride. The successful bidder will be required to deliver the pellets in 2,000 lb. bags on pallets to the Polk County Central Maintenance Facility. The delivery schedule will be between July 1, 2025, and November 15, 2025. • The bidder must provide a statement of their company's environmental sustainability initiatives and/or short- and long-term goals to reduce the effects of climate change. • The bidder must comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations to ensure that no employee or applicant for employment is discriminated against. • The bidder must provide a copy of their Affirmative Action Plan upon request. • The bidder must ensure that all authorized subcontractors comply with the provisions of the contract.
