Specialized Moving Services

The City of Boston is seeking a contractor to provide specialized moving services for the relocation of BPDA artifacts and The City of Boston Archives collections during the 201 Rivermoor renovation. The project is scheduled to begin in Fall 2026 and the collections will be returned in Spring 2027. The contractor will be responsible for providing specialized moving services, including the relocation of artifacts and archives. The city is looking for a contractor who can provide a high level of care and expertise in handling sensitive and valuable items. • The contractor must have experience in providing specialized moving services for similar projects. • The contractor must be able to provide a detailed plan for the relocation of the artifacts and archives. • The contractor must be able to provide a team of experienced and trained movers. • The contractor must be able to provide the necessary equipment and materials for the relocation. • The contractor must be able to provide a high level of customer service and communication throughout the project.
