250th Anniversary Illumination Program -Downtown Bucharest

The U.S. Embassy in Bucharest is seeking a contractor to design and implement an illumination program to project American colors and symbolic imagery onto prominent Bucharest landmarks. The goal is to create a striking and memorable visual presence in the city that generates public excitement, media coverage, and a sense of shared celebration. The contractor will be responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, and close-out of the illumination event. Some key aspects of the job include: • Conducting a site survey to identify optimal projection angles, distances, and equipment placement • Developing illumination design concepts featuring American national colors and imagery • Supplying, transporting, installing, and operating all necessary projection or lighting equipment • Providing a qualified technical crew for all illumination nights • Capturing high-quality photographs and videos of the illuminated sites The Embassy is open to proposals that creatively accomplish the above-mentioned goals and objectives, with a budget not exceeding $60,000 USD.
