The City of Pittsburgh is seeking qualified individuals and/or firms to provide special events services, including event management, marketing and public relations, and graphic design. The selected vendors will be required to enter into a contract with the City, which will be directed and managed by the issuing department and the Office of Management & Budget. The contract term will be for a maximum of three years, and vendors may submit proposals for any or all categories of work. The City is committed to providing equal opportunities for all vendors, and encourages participation from minority-owned, woman-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises. • Event Management Services: includes event planning, curation, and management services, as well as assistance with developing a sustainability plan, soliciting and coordinating vendors, and creating event plans and reports. • Marketing and Public Relations: includes creating and executing a plan to market an assigned event, performing community outreach, scheduling interviews with media outlets, generating content for event web pages, and preparing and sending press releases. • Graphic Design: includes designing posters, flyers, and brochures for events, designing or updating event logos, creating graphics for social media, and designing ads.
