RFP - Food Service Management for Anoka County Community Corrections Facilities

The County of Anoka is seeking a Food Service Management company to provide three daily meals for residents at the Anoka County Juvenile Center and adult Workhouse correctional facilities. The contract will be for a period beginning on or before August 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals. The successful Proposer will be required to provide meals that comply with the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) requirements and meet the nutritional and menu requirements specified in the RFP. The Proposer must also provide labor to manage commercial kitchen operations assisted by adult inmate workers. • The Proposer must have experience in providing food services to correctional facilities. • The Proposer must be able to provide meals that meet the nutritional and menu requirements specified in the RFP. • The Proposer must be able to manage commercial kitchen operations and supervise the preparation of all meals. • The Proposer must be able to provide a vehicle for transportation of daily food deliveries to and from all facilities. • The Proposer must be able to provide a backup vehicle available for emergencies.
