66--Notice of Intent to Sole Source for GEOTEK Ltd. Upgrade parts, installations an

The Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to GEOTEK Ltd. for the upgrade of their Multi-Sensor Core Logger-Standard (MSCL-S) system. The upgrade includes various parts, such as a Multi-Sensor Core Logger Acquisition PC, magnetic susceptibility loop sensor, and Gamma Density Measurement System, as well as installation and training. The reason for the sole source is that GEOTEK Ltd. is the only known source that can provide these parts due to their proprietary technology and warranty purposes. • The upgrade includes 9 items, including hardware and software components. • The installation and training will be provided by GEOTEK Ltd. and will take 3 working days. • The notice of intent is not a request for quote or proposal, but any interested party can identify themselves and provide evidence of their capability to fulfill the requirement. • Responses must be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist via email by June 26, 2026, 5:00PM ET.
