Public Relations Support

The City of Farmington Hills is seeking a professional communications support service to supplement the work of the Communications and Community Engagement Department. The service will provide public relations, crisis and issues management, and strategic counsel in close partnership with the Department's Communications Manager. The selected contractor will be required to have experience in providing similar services and will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision. The contract duration is 5 months, and the City reserves the right to extend or terminate the contract as needed. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing professional communications support, including public relations, crisis and issues management, and strategic counsel • Working in close partnership with the Communications and Community Engagement Department • Having experience in providing similar services • Being able to work independently with minimal supervision • Complying with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations • Providing services for a duration of 5 months, with the possibility of extension or termination
