RFP 26-19 Officiating Services

The City of Beaumont seeks a qualified contractor to provide on‑call officiating services for its youth and adult sports programs, tournaments, and special events. The contractor will recruit, schedule, train, and manage officials, ensure background checks for youth activities, supply equipment and uniforms, and submit incident reports, all on an as‑needed basis with no guaranteed minimum number of assignments. • Recruit, train, and assign certified officials for a variety of sports (volleyball, basketball, soccer, flag football, softball, futsal, etc.) • Provide on‑call coverage, emergency replacements, and maintain a primary coordinator for scheduling • Conduct background screenings, maintain certifications, supply uniforms/equipment, and submit post‑event reports • Contract term is three years with two optional one‑year extensions; payment is made via monthly invoicing based on a fee schedule submitted by the vendor.
