Academic, Technology, and Business Process Consultant

Texas Tech University (TTU) is seeking a qualified consulting firm to perform a comprehensive assessment of its major software investments, related business processes, and operational workflows. The consultant will map current state processes, evaluate enterprise software (including a deep dive into Salesforce), benchmark against peer institutions, and develop a future‑state roadmap with cost‑benefit analyses, change‑management recommendations, and an implementation plan. Deliverables include a Current State Assessment Report, Software Rationalization Report, Salesforce Utilization Assessment, Benchmarking Report, Final Strategic Recommendations Report, and an executive presentation. The work will require stakeholder interviews, workshops, process mapping, data analysis, and the production of actionable recommendations that improve efficiency, reduce redundancy, and optimize technology spend. • Review and rationalize TTU’s software portfolio for overlap, redundancy, and under‑utilization. • Conduct business‑process re‑engineering for enrollment, marketing, advancement, and other key functions. • Perform a detailed Salesforce architecture, adoption, governance, and integration assessment. • Benchmark TTU’s practices against Texas and national higher‑education peers. • Deliver a prioritized set of initiatives with cost‑benefit analysis, KPIs, and an implementation sequencing roadmap. • Provide change‑management guidance and knowledge‑transfer to TTU staff.
