Arkansas Teacher Retirement System IT Modernization Preparation

The Arkansas Teacher Retirement System is seeking a qualified vendor to assist with their information technology (IT) modernization preparation. The scope of work includes providing data analysis, recommendations, and possible data cleansing and conversion services in preparation for future ATRS modernization efforts. The contractor will assess current ATRS data, data sets, data infrastructure, and systems used, including third-party integrations, and develop a comprehensive ATRS data catalog. The contractor will also identify and cleanse data as needed and form a roadmap for future data management. Some key points to note are: • Assessing systems based on Strategic Plan goals, customer service goals, information technology goals, and industry best practices for business and technology operations of pension administrators. • Assessing ATRS processes and anticipated or recommended future-system needs while avoiding duplication of effort and ensuring both functional and process-related considerations are optimized at all times. • Developing a foundation for one or more future RFPs for pension administration (PAS), accounting, and/or investment systems to supplement or replace current ATRS IT Systems. The contract will be awarded to the Prospective Contractor determined to have submitted the proposal that is the most advantageous to the State.
