MOVING SERVICES

The Knox County Procurement Division is seeking bids for moving services. The contract will be for a period of five years, from December 1, 2022, to November 30, 2027. The successful bidder will be required to provide moving services, including packing, loading, transporting, and unloading of goods, as well as storage and delivery services. The bidder must also provide proof of insurance and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Some key responsibilities include: providing a detailed move plan, coordinating the move, and ensuring that all items are properly packed and loaded. • The bidder must have experience in providing moving services to government agencies or large organizations. • The bidder must have a valid business license and be registered with the state of Tennessee. • The bidder must have liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance. • The bidder must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, labor, and environmental protection. • The bidder must provide a detailed pricing structure, including hourly rates for labor and equipment. • The bidder must provide proof of insurance and comply with all insurance requirements.
