16 MP Brigade Wireless Intent to Sole Source

The 16 MP Brigade is seeking to award a sole source task order to AT&T for a three-month period to allow time for the unit to transition from a rescinded GPC payment policy to a task order. This will enable the unit to prepare a competitive solicitation. The task order is for wireless services, and the period of performance is anticipated to be 3 months. The justification for this sole source award is due to the need for an uninterrupted continuation of services, as the current GPC agreement with AT&T has been revoked by policy update. • The task order is for a firm, fixed price order. • The order is anticipated to be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency. • The sole source award is justified under 10 U.S.C. 2304c, as implemented by FAR 16.505(b)(2). • A replacement contract will be competitively procured through SPIRAL 4.
