Description
The City of Florence is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver a full‑service, turnkey drone light‑show for its 4th of July celebration at the Florence Soccer Complex. The contractor must provide at least 200 synchronized LED drones, obtain all FAA and local permits, design a patriotic choreography, conduct rehearsals, and manage launch, recovery, and site restoration. All equipment, staffing, insurance, and safety plans are required, with the contract awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, subject to local/MBE preferences.
• Minimum 200 drones, 10‑15 minute custom choreography
• Full FAA airspace authorization, permits, safety & emergency plans
• On‑site launch, recovery, rehearsals, and post‑show restoration
• All costs (including 8 % SC sales tax) must be included in a single total bid
• Deadline for sealed bids: Feb 16 2026 2:00 pm; questions due Feb 9 2026
