Sumter Street Sewer Rehabilitation Project

The Metropolitan Sewer Subdistrict is seeking qualified contractors to perform a sewer rehabilitation project in the Greenville County area near Berea. The work consists of a Base Bid and an Alternate Bid, covering extensive trenchless pipe rehabilitation, point repairs, manhole upgrades, and new pipe installation. The successful bidder will be responsible for delivering design‑build services under a Design‑Bid‑Build delivery method, adhering to the project schedule and quality standards. • Base Bid: CIPP rehabilitation of ~11,100 linear feet (LF) of 8‑inch pipe and ~1,800 LF of 12‑inch pipe, partial lateral rehab, point repairs, and monolithic lining of approx. 210 vertical feet (VF). • Alternate Bid: Additional CIPP rehab of ~380 LF of 8‑inch pipe and ~130 LF of 12‑inch pipe, installation of ~45 LF of new PVC sewer pipe, point repairs, manhole rehabilitation, and monolithic lining of 44 LF. • Delivery Method: Design‑Bid‑Build; submission deadline September 15, 2026 at 10:00 am; all bid copies to be provided in hard copy and electronic USB format.
