Passenger Boarding Ramps

The Kenton County Airport Board (KCAB) is seeking bids for the procurement of two universal passenger boarding ramps to support safe and efficient boarding and deplaning operations at remote airport locations. The successful bidder will be responsible for the manufacture, delivery, and commissioning of equipment that meets or exceeds the technical specifications outlined in the solicitation. Key requirements include aircraft compatibility, structural and safety features, drive system and maneuverability, and operational requirements. Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience, a proven track record, and provide a minimum two-year comprehensive warranty and a ten-year structural warranty. • The ramps must be versatile enough to service aircraft with various front door sill heights. • The ramps must have a full roof with side protection, a high-traction non-slip surface, integrated LED walkways, and an extra-wide platform. • The ramps must have a fully electric drivetrain with solar-powered battery recharging, remote control steering, and electric height adjustment. • The bidder must provide on-site operational and safety training for ground handling staff. • The bidder must comply with all current FAA and OSHA standards for Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
