Financial Corporate Structure Specialist

The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Public Protection Cabinet/Department of Insurance is seeking a Financial Corporate Structure Specialist to perform services related to financial examinations and analysis of insurers. The specialist will help the department understand the corporate structure of a domestic insurer and identify potential risks. The contractor will prepare a detailed examination report and may be required to testify in formal proceedings. The contract term is anticipated to be from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with the possibility of renewal for up to one additional year. Key responsibilities include: * Reviewing financial statements and identifying potential risks * Analyzing corporate structures and holding companies * Providing expertise in insurance regulatory experience and auditing/examining * Preparing a detailed examination report * Testifying in formal proceedings if necessary The contractor will be paid an hourly rate of $230.00, and the contract is subject to various terms and conditions, including insurance requirements and conflict-of-interest laws.
