DCYF/Market Rate Survey

The Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families is seeking a contractor to conduct an analysis of child care market price data. The contractor will analyze data collected through the Minnesota Child Care Provider Business Update survey and provide reports on the results. The contractor will also analyze and report on the relationship between current market rates and CCAP maximum rates, and provide recommendations for improving the approach to analyzing and reporting rate survey data. The contract is expected to last for 24 months, with the possibility of extensions up to a total of 5 years. • The contractor will analyze data collected through the Minnesota Child Care Provider Business Update survey. • The contractor will provide reports on the results of the analysis, including cluster and percentile results of rates charged by providers. • The contractor will analyze and report on the relationship between current market rates and CCAP maximum rates. • The contractor will provide recommendations for improving the approach to analyzing and reporting rate survey data.
