Stamford School student bussing

The Windham Southwest Supervisory Union is seeking bids for student transportation services for the Stamford Elementary School. The contract will be for one or two school years, 2026-2027 and 2027-2028. The successful bidder will be required to provide buses, drivers, and maintenance services. The bidder must also provide proof of insurance, including automobile and general liability insurance, and workers' compensation insurance. The contract will be awarded based on the bidder's qualifications, experience, and price. • The bidder must provide buses that comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. • The bidder must provide drivers who possess a Vermont School Bus Certificate and have a minimum of 21 years of age. • The bidder must provide proof of physical examination for all drivers. • The bidder must provide a schedule for servicing all vehicles and maintain records of inspections and maintenance. • The bidder must provide buses with two-way communication devices and video cameras with audio capabilities. • The bidder must provide buses with drop chains. • The bidder must provide a list of all vehicles, including make, model, year, and vehicle identification number.
