The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is seeking bids for the construction of crew quarters on the M/V Tazlina. The project will consist of adding sleeping quarters for up to 24 persons, 8 single-person staterooms on the Bridge Deck, and 8 two-person staterooms on the Upper Deck. The Engineer's Estimate for the project is between $30,000,000 and $40,000,000, and all work must be completed by September 9, 2027. • The project is a Race Neutral project as defined in Section 120 of the Specifications. • Plans, specifications, bid documents, reports, addenda, and other bidder information are available online for downloading free of charge. • Hard copies of the documents are available for a non-refundable fee of $100/set. • Companies owned by women, minorities, and people with disabilities are encouraged to bid.
