Preliminary Breath Testing (PBT) Instrument

The State of Delaware is seeking a vendor to provide Preliminary Breath Testing (PBT) instruments for use by state agencies and other authorized entities. The contract will be for a period of one year, with options for three one-year extensions. The vendor will be required to provide the instruments, as well as any necessary maintenance and support. The state is looking for a vendor that can provide a reliable and accurate PBT instrument that meets the state's specifications. • The PBT instrument must be able to perform an automatic sensor blank test prior to subject sampling. • The instrument must be able to provide a printed result of the test. • The vendor must be able to provide maintenance and support for the instrument. • The vendor must be able to provide training for state agency personnel on the use of the instrument. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. • The state reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
