WCP Utility Asset Inventory Support Project

Western Carolina Power (WCP) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to assist in developing an operational utility asset inventory system for internal utility operations and asset management. The purpose of this project is to improve WCP's operational awareness, outage response capabilities, maintenance planning, infrastructure management, and long-term utility planning by developing a practical, maintainable utility asset inventory environment. The selected vendor will work collaboratively with WCP personnel to develop a practical utility asset inventory environment suitable for internal utility operational and maintenance activities. Key aspects of the project include: • Developing a utility asset inventory system • Improving operational awareness and outage response capabilities • Enhancing maintenance planning and infrastructure management • Providing long-term utility planning • Collaborating with WCP personnel • Utilizing existing legacy CAD drawings and historical utility records • Ensuring data quality and accuracy • Providing training and support • Meeting specific requirements and specifications outlined in the RFP
