Medical Gases and Cylinders (Tiered) - VISN23

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide medical gases and cylinders to multiple locations in the Veterans Integrated Service Network 23. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with a fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) structure. The contractor will be responsible for delivering medical gases, including compressed air, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nitrous oxide, as well as other specialty gas mixtures. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and must provide a cylinder tracking system to monitor the movement of cylinders in and out of the facilities. Key points to consider: • The contract is a total set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, but other small businesses and large businesses are also encouraged to participate. • The contractor must have a facility or resources located in the geographic areas where they will provide supplies. • The contractor will be required to provide reports on usage statistics, cost data, and cylinder tracking. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to medical gas production, packaging, and transportation. • The contractor will be responsible for installing and maintaining equipment, including cylinders and manifolds, at the facilities. • The contractor must provide a detailed phase-out plan for removing all cylinders and equipment from the facilities at the end of the contract.
