Annual Auditing Services

The Town of Castle Rock, Colorado is seeking proposals from qualified firms of Certified Public Accountants to perform the Town's Financial Audit for the fiscal year ending December 31st annually. The audit will include the Federal Single Audit report and technical guidance associated with the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). The selected firm will provide audit services for a period of three years, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The firm will be required to provide a detailed work plan, ensure coordinated effort during the audit, and communicate openly with the Director of Finance and the Assistant Finance Director. • The audit will be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. • The firm will provide technical guidance to the Town in the preparation of the ACFR and the Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR). • The firm will provide technical guidance to the Town regarding current and future GASB pronouncements. • The firm will provide a secure portal to transmit confidential Town documents. • The firm will be required to provide proof of insurance, including Workers' Compensation. • The firm will be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and administrative rulings.
