Lifeguard Services

The United States Space Force is seeking a contractor to provide lifeguard services for the Patrick SFB Fitness Center Mission Training Pool and the Outdoor Recreation Community Recreation Pool. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, uniforms, transportation, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to perform aquatics management and lifeguard services. The services must conform to the guidance and standards stated in the contract, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC) and the Florida Administrative Code for Public Swimming Pools and Bathing Places. The contractor must ensure that all lifeguard personnel are certified and trained in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR, and that they maintain their certification throughout the contract period. The contractor must also provide a Lifeguard Supervisor during all hours of operation and ensure that all lifeguard personnel are equipped with the necessary personal protective equipment and rescue devices. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Providing lifeguard services for the Fitness Center Mission Training Pool and the Community Recreation Pool • Ensuring that all lifeguard personnel are certified and trained in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR • Maintaining the safety and security of the pool areas, including monitoring water quality and performing regular inspections of the facilities and equipment • Responding to emergencies, including water rescue, first aid, and CPR • Maintaining accurate records, including lifeguard certifications, training logs, and incident reports.
